Not far from where I live there is vista to the open desert. Occasionally at dusk there is a light layer of clouds and when the intense Arizona sun sets it radiates color across the sky lighting the clouds in every direction. The trick is to see it coming and be in place to capture it.
About Joanne West
I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection.
