Finally I photographed September's "Harvest Moon," the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox, as it was rising over the ridges of the Superstition Mountains. Living here in Gold Canyon Arizona it's a sight I get to witness quite often but being in the right place, at the right time with the right equipment, and clear skies was act of grace for sure!

I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection. By experiencing different countries I am continually reminded of the oneness that flows thru all life. I allow grace to guide me in capturing life's precious moments.
