Captured on the Eastern Coast of Australia just before dusk. I spotted the woman's figure and foraged my way to a clear view where I could securely ground the legs of my tripod in the heavy bush. At the time, I was unaware that 6 species of deadly snakes reside in this area. Guess I am blessed.
About Joanne West
I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection.
