This magical photo was created on my grandfathers birthday the year after his death. I rose at dawn and set up at tripod in my AZ backyard to capture a sunrise in memory of him. I did not know just east of me, in White Sands New Mexico the military base had launched a test missile. The rays of the rising sun created this rainbow effect and the gift from my grandfather who was a military man touched my heart forever.

I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection. By experiencing different countries I am continually reminded of the oneness that flows thru all life. I allow grace to guide me in capturing life's precious moments.
