This photo was captured on 35mm slide film on my desert acreage. It was taken at dusk during a summer monsoon storm. About a month after the photo was made the Saguaro cactus fell over. Perhaps lightning struck it or maybe it was just old age.

It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos.
