Inspired by the ripples of light reflecting in the water I decided to photograph a friend riding an old bicycle in my swimming pool. I used an EWA bag to waterproof my Nikon film camera and we both held our breath. This shot was the only one we synched on and gravity didn't pull her and the bike over. I colorized the original bw print with marshall oils.

I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection. By experiencing different countries I am continually reminded of the oneness that flows thru all life. I allow grace to guide me in capturing life's precious moments. I often find that by just being with the "what is", I am blessed with amazing photo opportunities. I love to remind...
