This mother fox had just delivered her morning catch to her kits who were living under this old wood building. Perched across the field with a long lens I was hoping for an opportunity to include the beautiful colors of distressed wood with the fox. To my delight she decided to gaze my way with a look of discernment exactly where I imagined her to stand.
I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection.
