I call this hummingbird Ucellino which is Italian for little bird. The feather colors are the same as the Italian flag, however the photo was captured in Arizona. This may be my most favorite hummingbird photo.
I chose to live in an underground home in Gold Canyon, Arizona because I care about the environment and want to live in harmony with nature. It is an ideal location for a nature photographer, magic light dances off the nearby Superstition Mountains and dark desert skies are perfect making for star trail and lightning photos. In addition to a 40 yr. love affair capturing Arizona beauty, a dash of international travel adds diversity to my photo collection. By experiencing different countries I am continually reminded of the oneness that flows thru all life. I allow grace to guide me in capturing life's precious moments.
